My name is Candace, I am in my late twenties and I am a Canadian transplant in the United States… New York City to be exact. I have been living here for approximately 3 years, and have at least 2 more years to add to that until I fully realize the city for it’s human eating ways and escape.
I’m an arts student at a fairly well known institution and had been spending a lot of my time in Manhattan. Now I spend my days in Brooklyn trying to stay out of trouble. I draw and paint fairly realistic work. I’m a lover of baking and baked goods using locally grown ingredients. I’m becoming a lover of vegan treats although I am not vegan myself. I’ve become extremely interested in healthy, local eating.
Aside from that I am a visibly tattooed girl who sticks around in the background being quiet. I am not your average girly girl and feel completely comfortable going to work, events, out in the public in a pair of jeans and a tank stop paired with some sort of designed/pattern slip on. I am a little quirky, maybe a little bit odd, but that’s what really makes us all unique.
